Frontier Tycoon Review
One of the first problems many players encounter when they start to play Frontierville is they will trade in a collection and then later find that they needed an item from that collection to complete a quest. Normally it will be one of the rare items that you need like Prairie Piles, Apple Pies or Ribeye Steaks, and they can take weeks to find another item. Fortunately this problem and many others have been solved by a new Frontierville guide by Rachel Stark, and I was recently given a copy to write a Frontier Tycoon Review for my readers.
As previously stated on this site there are no true Frontierville cheats, however, on occasions someone may find a glitch in the program which can be exploited for a short period of time until Zynga Games close the loophole. Frontierville Game Basics
After a brief introduction chapter the guide gets into the basics of playing Frontierville, so new players will be up and running quickly. This includes the game interface which shows you what everything is on the game screen and the fundamentals like managing your energy levels efficiently. This section also has a great strategy for planting crops which is the strategy I currently use for gaining coins, food and energy points to enable fast levelling up. In my opinion this is one of the most important skills that can be learnt from the Frontier Tycoon guide and should not be underestimated. The rest of the fundementals chapter explains all about farming the animals, a brief mention of the quests (specific information to come later in the guide), dealing with the varmints, clearing the land and the buildings that can be bought. Lastly is a primer for the section on the collections.
Frontierville Walkthrough
The next chapter is a walkthrough of the game, however this is not a true walkthrough that can be followed from A to Z. Because you will be working on several quests at a time, sometimes you will not complete one goal before starting a new one, so it is impossible to write a guide that will follow all scenarios in a specific order.
What this walkthrough provides is a detailed look at what is required to complete each quest as well as a run down of all the collections available. This where the importance of keeping hold of the completed collections is highlighted with details of what items you need to keep hold of to complete certain quests. Each collection also has some tips which will help you in your search for the items.
This is one of the most useful sections of the guide and is written for the experienced player as well as beginners. As I discussed in the first paragraph of this review alot of frustration can be avoided by knowing what collections to keep and what ones can be safely turned in.
Frontierville Neighbors
The next chapter deals with your Frontierville Neighbors, and provides hints and tips not only for gathering neighbors but also how to get the most from them. Neighbors are an essential part of the Frontierville game, and it is impossible to play much of the game without them. What many people are finding is that their facebook friends are not playing Frontierville so they don’t have many neighbors. This chapter of the Frontier Tycoon manual will show you how to quickly build a neighbor list that other players will envy.
Cheats and Tricks
The last chapter deals with some specific hints and tips that Rachel has discovered whilst playing the game. Called “Cheats and Tricks” this chapter lists 16 specific strategies that you can use regardless of whether you are at level 1 or level 40+ (although a level 40 player will already know some if not all of these tricks).

If you are a new player looking to get a jump start on your friends then this guide will definately help you achieve that goal. More experienced players will know some of the strategies but even then there are some nuggets of information that will have light bulbs going off in your head.
