All Hallows Eve is approaching, and the children believe that we will soon be cursed with vengeful spirits.I know this is a bunch of codswallop, but people’s fears must be assuaged before panic sweeps the countryside. Perhaps if you build a new graveyard outside town, then people can have a place to honor their departed family members.

Headless Horseman Mission Part 1 – A Grave Tale

With the approach of All Hallows’ Eve, perhaps you should dedicate a peaceful place for the spirits to rest. Pull up the grass and till the land so you can build the Graveyard.

1. Clear Five Grass
2. Clear Two Rocks
3. Buy the Graveyard from the Market

You can buy the Graveyard in the Buildings Tab in the Market.

Headless Horseman Mission Part 2 – The Legend of Sleepy Junction

Alas, the Graveyard is haunted by a vengeful spirit from a long ago war! Drive the Headless Horseman from your home with fire, and nail up a lucky talisman over each doorway so he won’t bother you again!

1. Craft Six Fire
2. Get 10 Lucky Talismans (These will be consumed to complete this mission)
3. Scare off the Headless Horseman

You can craft fire inside the Covered Wagon. Click on the Headless Horseman to scare him. Press “Ask” above to get lucky talismans from friends.

Headless Horseman Mission Part 3 – Horseman’s Rampage

The Headless Horseman is rampaging through your neighbors’ land. Help them out by clearing some trees for visibility, and get the horses ready and saddled to chase him down!

1. Chop Five Neighbor Oak Trees
2. Tend or Groom Five Neighbor Horses
3. Help Five Neighbors Scare off the Horseman

The Horseman will travel from your neighbor’s homestead to another neighbor once you scare him off. Scaring him off of your neighbor’s land will take all your tends for the day.

Headless Horseman Mission Part 4 – Finding The Weakness

An old storybook tells of the Horseman’s origins and how to truly defeat him. Find the cannonball that took off his head in the War, then load it up in a special cannon with some blessed gunpowder.

1. Place Ghost Cannon from your Inventory (Or buy one from the Market)
2. Get Ten Blessed Powder
3. Find the Bloody Cannonball

Press “ask” above to request blessed powder from your friends. Find the bloody cannonball by clearing debris on neighbors’ homesteads. The ghost cannon is a reward from Trick or Treat Part 2.

Headless Horseman Mission Part 5 – Rest in Pieces

It’s time to defeat that horrible Horseman once and for all! Use the Ghost Cannon, blessed powder and bloody cannonball to blow him back into the afterlife. Then sanctify the Graveyard by collecting his severed head.

1. Defeat the Headless Horseman
2. Finish the Graveyard

Use the Ghost Cannon to blow up the Headless Horseman. Finish the Graveyard once you have collected all the necessary materials from the Horseman and your neighbors.
Ready that “Ghost Cannon” in defense of your homestead and blast that evil menace back into the afterlife for me!Once the Horseman is dispatched, I suggest you sanctify the Graveyard as quickly as possible, so there is no chance of perilous spirits rising again.We’re all counting on you!
